Brandi passante made an instant sensation after her role in the reality show 'StorageWars' on A&E. Also, it was a part of Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend of many years and now husband. Storage lockers whose owners had not paid rent in over three months are auctioned off in the show. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to buy some storage units for cheap prices. They had no idea they would become superstars in real life! In the course of the show, the couple showed themselves to be tactful and successful bidders. They would become the mainstays. Following appearing on the television reality show, the couple were successful in increasing their business. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was developed after their appearance on Storage Wars.
